Germs generally like environments that they can easily thrive in, dirty ones. When an area is clean it is not as inviting and germs are less likely to stay.
So how do you figure out what to use to clean?
Perhaps all you need is a cleaner that is environmentally friendly that cleans well. Using a healthy cleaner will give you a clean home and your health can be preserved.
When you are cleaning a closed in area such as the shower, the fumes stay in the area at high levels and you breathe them in. By making the simple adjustment of changing to a non toxic cleaner you could clean your shower without coughing so hard that your eyes water.
There are other benefits to using environmentally friendly cleaners. Most cleaners end up going down a drain and into the waterways, affecting wildlife, plants and humans. With environmentally friendly biodegradable cleaners the effects on the ponds, streams, wildlife and humans are much more positive than the effects from toxic cleaners.
So when it comes time to spring clean, clean up the cleaners first and maybe cleaning won't seem so hard.
